There is new 5.4.2 firmware for the FortiAP line. Has anybody tried it out?
The release notes say that it adds DFS channel support for a number of additional FAP versions, however I still don't see anything in the spec sheets about DFS certification for the USA versions of the 221C (FAP-221C-A).
The FAP spec sheet (https://www.fortinet.com/content/dam/fortinet/assets/data-sheets/Fortinet_Wireless_Product_Matrix.pd...) still groups the 221C and 223C together and in the DFS Certified section for the 221C/223C says:
Region E, J, T (FAP-221C)
Region E, A, J (FAP-223C)
Note that it specifically does not list a FAP-221C in Region A (USA) as being DFS certified.
Can anyone tell me definitively if the FAP-221C-A is DFS certified?
Thanks.

Yes, FAP-221C-A has been DFS certified.
Please refer to FortiAP 5.2.3 Release Notes.
Thanks for the confirmation.
Please pass on the request to update the wireless product matrix to show the DFS certification for FAP-221C-A.
Sure.
Thank you too.
