FortiAP change Mgmt Ip from Firewall

Hello, I need to change the default GW on my Fortinet 80E, this FW also acts as a wifi controller, my question is this disconnect the AP? Or does it not matter?

No if your AP's are on local networks.

Hello, thanks for the quick reply, 10 Wlan APP are in the LAN where I have to change the IP address of the GW other 5 are in another VLAN. If I change the IP address from 192.168.0.254 to 192.168.0.253 (LAN) I do not have to change it anywhere?

Changing the LAN Adress of the Fortigate is not the same than changing the default gateway.
