FortiAP-231F Scheduled Boots and Shut downs

Hello, everyone!
I hope you are all doing great.

We have several FortiAP-231F access points in a residency building on our campus. I created a new SSID for the building with a schedule that broadcasts the SSID after work hours.

I am also wondering if I can automate the access points power, meaning based on a schedule, they should turn off/on.

Can somebody please help?

Best regards,

Hello @sagvan ,

If you use FortiSwitch and these APs are connected to this switch, you can use automation.

If you change to switchport mode enable/disable with automation, your AP will shut down and open up.

@ozkanaltas
Thank you for the response!

We don't have Fortiswitches, but since you provided me with the documents, I will accept your comment as solution.
