FortiAP 221E R2 channel "0" (radio status : down)

Hi there,

I have an issue with one of my 221E FortiAP's having "0" on R2.

I have 7 APs in total of which 2 are 221E's. Out of the 2 221E's:

APone is: FP221E-v7.4-build0564 (has 2 radios in use and clients connected to both)

APtwo is: FP221E-v7.4-build0596 (this is the one with "0" on R2, clients only connected to R1).

output for APtwo (ssid names redacted):

diagnose wireless-controller wlac -c wtp <serial>

Radio 1: Failed

EDIT:

If it doesn't help it doesn't hurt... downgrading to FP221E-v7.4-build0564 does not help. Radio seems unusable.

If anyone has an idea on how to get this going again or how to know for sure radio is dead for real... please help me out.
