Hello
I have FortiAP 220B or 221B, actually I don't know if it is 220B or 221B and that what I want to know.
I don't have physical access to the AP and I don't have ssh access to the AP.
On my FortiGate CLI I can see the following info (same on WebUI), but it is never mentioned anywhere if it is 220 or 221.
platform : FAP220B/221B
id : FAP22B3U12******
Do you know any command I can run on FG to know the exact AP model?
Hi @AEK,
Can you check which FortiAP profile it is using? You can run this command:
diagnose wireless-controller wlac -c wtp
Regards,
Hi hbac
Still 22B here.
FGT # diagnose wireless-controller wlac -c wtp
-------------------------------WTP 1----------------------------
WTP vd : root
vfid : 0
id : FAP22B3U12******
...
oper-wtp-profile : resv-dflt-FAP22B3U12******
wtp-mode : normal
cfg-apcfg-prof :
...
active sw ver : FAP22B-v5.2-build0265
...
Hi
If you have access to FAP CLI:
# fap-get-status
I guess that your unit is a 220B model not a 221B, just because 221 models prints explicitly its model
hope it helps
regards
/ Abel
Hi Abelio
Thanks for the hint.
Unfortunately I don't have access to the AP.
Next week I'll see the AP physically and I'll update the info.
