Forti License server port

I would like to know that what port being used to accept license registration of Fortigate Firewall from Forti license server? Sometimes, some products show not completely registered. Thanks.

The FortiGate makes connection to FortiGuard via SSL(443) to do license check. This sources from the FortiGate itself and no separate connection is made from license server to your FortiGate.

So, usually your WAN port. I' ve seen difficulties in cases where the FGT' s WAN port had no public IP address but a private one (having the FGT behind an edge router).
