Hello @shoaib123 ,

There is no optional licence for FortiDDNS service but FortiDDNS service has some requirements.

A license or subscription is not required to use the DDNS service, but configuring DDNS in the GUI is not supported if:

The FortiGate model is a 1000-series or higher.
The FortiGate is a VM.
The DNS server is not using FortiGuard as the DNS.

You can review this document for more information.

there is an issue with ddns and s2s ipsec: when you disabled p1 autonegotiation on the non-ddns-side it will no longer update the remote gw so the vpn will no longer come up.
