Hi Team,
We have faced one FortiDDNS issue while we are connecting it to the VPN its not coming up.I have one query is there any license required for the fortiDDNS as our license got expired.
And one more thing in our config we cannot see where the fortiddns is configured
Hello @shoaib123 ,
There is no optional licence for FortiDDNS service but FortiDDNS service has some requirements.
A license or subscription is not required to use the DDNS service, but configuring DDNS in the GUI is not supported if:
The FortiGate model is a 1000-series or higher.
The FortiGate is a VM.
The DNS server is not using FortiGuard as the DNS.
You can review this document for more information.
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.4.3/administration-guide/685361/ddns
there is an issue with ddns and s2s ipsec: when you disabled p1 autonegotiation on the non-ddns-side it will no longer update the remote gw so the vpn will no longer come up.
