Forti 50e packet Loss and slow speed on lan ports
hello everyone, I have a forti 50e and I have problems with speed and packet loss on the lan
It is very very slow, it should have 499mb download and I have 4mb
I have tried everything and nothing, the firmware is the latest and with that neither.

Check how? Any logs to share? how fast is your internet connection? Do you have any inspection enabled? What exactly are you using to speed test? Are you plugged directly into the FortiGate when running the test?

I would recommend creating a support ticket with our TAC team for any known for hardware failure of the device once all tests are done from your end such as directly connecting a PC to the ISP modem and compare speed

You can repair it, just heat the CPU with a hot air gun which will resolder the solders under the CPU. The problem comes from the ball solders under the CPU which degrade over time, you just have to melt them for a few seconds for the FG50E LAN ports to work again :
