Firmware Upgrade

I am trying to upgrade the OS on my FG800 and I am having trouble with the console. I am using WindowsXP and have setup HyperTerm to connect over COM1, 9600-8-n-1. I am able to get connected without any trouble but the console does not respond to any keyboard commands. When I hit the spacebar or enter at the ' Press any key to display configuration menu' nothing happens. I have tried several different settings for the Emulation none of which seem to help. What am I doing wrong?

I figured it out. I had to change the Flow control from Hardware to None.

I had the same thing happen with HP2650 switches and Hyperterm. Try changing Flow Control from Hardware to None. It worked for me. Greg
