Good morning,
i'm running firmware 7.0.0 on a fortigate 500e firewall and i'm trying to schedule a script.
The only link i've found so far is https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortimanager/7.0.0/administration-guide/910004/schedule-a-script which refers to FortiManager and doesn't work in my environment:
Go to System Settings > Dashboard
but the menu on the left is missing the "system settings": I have "system" and "settings":
If i try to enable them via cli, the option "setting" is missing:
# config system admin
<Enter>
# config system admin setting
command parse error before 'setting'
Command fail. Return code 1
#
Can someone help me?
Thank you

Any chance you are trying to run FortiManager commands on Fortigate ? If so, it is not gonna work, those are different devices.
Now that you pointed it out, yes: that's what happening I have updated the first thread with correct informations about my hardware.
My question then is: what should I do to be able to schedule scripts on my fortigate 500e firewall running firmware 7.0.0?
