Hello, guys!

Some few weeks after upgrading my 80F to fortiOS 7.4 the web gui page for firewall policy stopped loading. fortinet.png

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello @therculano

There is a bug ID: 910068 on 7.4.0 version. Please refer to https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.4.0/fortios-release-notes/236526/known-issues

On the Policy & Objects > Firewall Policy page, if any of the interface names contain a space, the page does not load when Interface Pair View is selected.

Workaround: remove all space characters in interface names referenced in policies.

This bug will be resolved in 7.4.1. Please let me know if the workaround work for you.

Hi therculano,

First of all, please try clearing the browser's cache or use a different browser private/incognito window. If the issue persists, you can try restarting https daemon by running "fnsysctl killall httpsd" in the CLI. If my answer helps, please mark it as resolved.

I tryed it on 4 different browsers but I got the same result and the command "fnsysctl killall httpsd" didn't work as well.

Hi @hbac,

I have only one interface with space in its name, but it is an ipsec tunnel. How can I change its name without recreating the tunnel or turning it down?

Thanks!

Hi @therculano

Unfortunately, it is not possible to rename the tunnel. Please refer to https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Rename-IPSEC-tunnel/ta-p/221983

Does it load when selecting 'By Sequence' instead of 'Interface Pair View'?

You can either recreate the tunnel or wait for 7.4.1 which will be released at the end of this month or early September.

@hbac, selecting "by sequence" it loads, but it is not a very good view for what I need.

Thank you, hbac!

Try to check from other browser also, and clear browse cache and check it>

if still issue presisting, and next upgrade to 7.4.1.
