Check the logs. Most likely it uses a port that you're not allowing or is triggering UTM features such as anti-virus. You may need to put the PC, printer, or both in a clean rule that has no UTM (or certain parts disabled). The logs *should* indicate what it doesn't like, but you may have to experiment.
