Firewall Recommendation

What questionnaire I have to put in front of the client to propose the correct firewall for his organization.

You can ask the following:

- number of users (If FW will the be gateway to internet browsing, however this is the most suitable scenario, it gives the opportunity to client to provide more controlled internet browsing to users)

- number of devices directly terminating into FW (Servers, Core switches etc.)

- number of ISP's they have or planning to have

- HA needed (Active/Standby installation)

- HSRP installation (this can be done if HA is in place)

- Remote sites MPLS termination, if any

These are the common questions.
