File-Blocking in Custom Applications

Hi,    I have created a custom application signature for a web-based application & i am able to see the application traffic in the logs. Now the customer wants to control the uploads of .exe into the web server.    Has anyone tried this before. Wherein we can control file-types being transferred over custom applications.    Kindly please let me know.    Regards   Sebastan

Not sure why this is a wrong forum as file blocking is either part of AV profile or DLP.
