Factory reset retain licence?
Moving Fortigate's around client site, replaced 60E with 60F and now replacing a 60D with the 60E spare.
If I factory reset the 60E will it retain the AV licencing or does that get removed during the process? Ideally i'd like to simply restore the 60D config into the 60E but not sure this would work with licencing.

You can take a look at it your self once you connected the factory-reset 60E GUI under FortiGuard it should show up there if it's successfully connected to FortiGuard server. It's registered at your support site, not at the FGT. If you remember how you got the UTM services, you would have realized you never needed to do anything at the 60E.
Only licenses you might lose and re-enter after you factory reset is what you had to enter into the FGT when you bought them, like a VDOM license, Fortitoken licenses, etc.

Sounds like we may lose the licence if factory reset. We register via Forticloud for management purposes but the licencing is done via registration code directly on the Fortigate. Prefer not to rely on sales tracking down a clients old 2 year licence if it were to disappear on reset. Will manually setup the 60E to replace 60D.

At the FortiCloud, under Product List, drill down to your 60E then check Entitlement. They should be still active there.
