Factory reset 500D

Reset button on front doesn’t appear to be doing anything. Flashes really quickly on front.

I can’t find my console cable either :’(

If the proper solution doesn't work (press the button after resetting the unit, in the first minute after Status button started blinking slowly), then you need to find that console cable. You will probably need it to reinstall a newer FortiOS anyway if this is a new unit to you.
