I've been testing traffic shapping with a FWF90D sitting on a Centurylink 1gbps fiber connection. With no traffic shaping I can get full speed on the link.
With traffic shapers enabled though I'm seeing odd behavior. It seems like traffic shapers work properly up until about ~110mbps. Anything beyond that and the upload/download seem to cap out as low as ~110mbps and as high as ~140mbps.
Does anyone know if the lower-end units have a maximum throughput a shaper can handle?
Here are some examples of what I'm seeing with a shaper set to 100mbps, 200mbps, unlimited, and no shaper at all:
the traffic can not be handled by SoC1/2-NPU if you have enabled the traffic-shaping function...
that's because the NPU for SoC1/2 does not currently support the hardware traffic shaper...
and the ARM-based CPU sucks...
