FORTINDR VM - RESPONSE

Hello 

I would like to know how does the FortiNDR VM  respond after it detects malware ? Can the FortiNDR clean the malware files on its own ? or it just detects the malware

Hello Mahmood,

FortiNDR not clean the malware files on its own. It use to detects the malware or network anomalies. If the FortiNDR is integrate with FortiGate, when the file was submitted from FortiGate and the FortiNDR detect the file was malicious, it will provide the verdict to FortiGate and FortiGate will block the file from being downloaded to the user.
