FORTIDDoS Cloud Signaling with Verisign OpenHybrid

Hello Everyone.

Im bit new in the FortiDDos, im referring the "FortiDDoS Deployment Guide for Cloud Signaling with Verisign OpenHybrid"

It will be very helpful, if someone can confirm do we need configure the FortiDDos Appliance with the Verisign OpenHybrid as a part of installation and deployment or its a additional feature to avoid any high end attacks.

FortiDDoS does not require Verisign OpenHybrid Cloud Mitigation for normal deployments. Verisign OpenHybrid Cloud Mitigation is intended for customers who want hybrid on-premise / cloud mitigation for situations where the Internet link is overwhelmed by attack traffic and the only way to mitigate is to move the mitigation upstream to a cloud provider with higher bandwidth.  Fortinet does not resell Verisign Cloud Mitigation services.
