FIPS Validation?
Is anyone here running FIPS validated VPN connections to their Foritgates that have gone through audits?
I am struggling to see how anyone could run FIPS validated with Fortinet. The only Firmware that is validate is 5.6.7 but they are working on validating 6.0 and 6.2. But the only FortiClient version that was validate is now expired and there is no planed validation for any new FortiClients.
I am looking for ideas, but feel like there is no path forward with Fortinet. I don't even think you can buy a new Fortigate right now that will run the 5.2.7 firmware.
