I have a problem, that forward traffic logs don't appear and a message appears "No matches entries found" as if no traffic is being forwarded.
Is it a bug on FortiOS5.4.4? Found nothing in the released note v5.4.4.
I can just confirm that problem in combination with FortiAnalyzer. I opened a support case 4 weeks ago which is still not solved.
If you are working without FortiAnalyzer, the problem could just be an issue with the config:

By default, "local traffic" features are disabled,
Check through CLI:
Fortinet # get log memory filter
local-traffic : disable
Fortinet # config log memory filter
Fortinet # set local-traffic enable
Now you can find the local log Log&Report -> Local Traffic/Traffic Log -> Local Traffic
