I checked and it is not a vs4 hardware device any one else had this issue.
I have 5.0.10 on the system when I try and update to 5.2.1-2-3 all fail to boot.

Hi Paul.
Welcome to the forums.
If the 100D fails to boot, connect a rollover (console) cable to the console port and monitor the boot process via Putty (or some other terminal program). If there is a problem the console session should show it. A common problem is corrupted flash. which may require reformatting the boot disk and tftp new firmware to it.
I would check the support site and patch notes on the 100D as I seem to recall there being special instructions on upgrading it.

You got it in 1 Dave it was the flash. I never thought of that. Have never seen the flash act like that at all. Usually it will not take any updates but this would take any 5.0 update but failed on 5.2.1+.
Formatting and loading 5.2.1 fixed the issue thanks again.
Paul
