I did an upgrade on my firewall and now I cannot login. Also did a reset and cannot connect to the default IP. Anyone experienced this ?
here is
Hi @anettaj77 ,
1) Nothing wrong with the "admin" user account because you can login to the console access;
2) The output of the routing table is not complete.
But I think that I know what the issue is:
3) I guess that the WAN interface is connecting to the ISP router or modem and receiving a DHCP IP which belongs to 192.168.1.0/24 subnet;
4) You tried to access the LAN interface which has 192.168.1.99/24 IP. This is overlapped with the WAN subnet.
Solution:
Since you have console access, please try the following:
config sys interface
edit lan
set ip 192.168.100.99/24
end
On your PC/laptop, configure an IP as 192.168.100.100/24.
You should be able to access the GUI via the lan interface.
You are freaking AWESOME!!! Thanks so much. It worked! Another issue I was having was the laptop I was using. It' old so it couldn't connect. I tried on another laptop then I was able to connect. Thank you so much!!!
