FGT 800D how to reset?
Client have loaded a faulty configuration and have lost access (cannot login). We want to factory this unit.
FGT 800D does not have a RESET button, only a NMI button.
The below link does not work because we do not have any consolse access.

if your firmware version is below 7.2.4 then you can use this document to reset the password (console or direct acess via mgmt or any other interface is required) https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Resetting-a-lost-admin-password/ta-p/19704...
If your are above 7.2.4 and have a console or a management access then you can flash format and reload the firmware
If you don’t have console or mgmt access you cannot factory reset or make any changes

flash formatting via botloader and uploading via TFTP als worked propr 7.2.4 and even prior 7.x .
However that would still require access to the serial console.
If you can no longer log in any other way and the FGT does not have a reset button this will be the only way to reset it. Alas you will also loose the config with that.
