FG/FWF 30G, FG Rugged 50G/70G with 5G in MidQ3-Pricelist

Didn't think Fortinet would place any device below the 40G model ... but I guess they did ... HW list price about 100$, UTP Bundle for 3 years about 300$ cheaper.

Anybody come across a data sheet yet?

Also, prices for Rugged 50G/70G with cellular modem are in the pricelist. Other prices seem mostly unchanged.

There probably won't be any 40 model products in the G series. Although I haven't been able to access the datasheet yet, my thought is that the new 30G will have a similar or slightly better performance than the 40F. Like the previous 30E and 40F.

Just a note here.  The FWF-40F only has 2G RAM.  Not sure if the 30G has increased that?  Anything less than 4G and FortiOS disables any Proxy-Based services, starting with 7.4.4 release.  None of the data sheets give RAM specs, but if you want/need proxy-based services (like most of the DLP functionality for instance) then find out the RAM specs before purchasing.

The 50G data sheet doesn't provide memory specs BUT there is a foot note for video filtering (which requires proxy mode, and as such >2Gb):

3. Not available for FortiGate/FortiWiFi 40F, 60E, 60F, 80E, and 90E series from 7.4.4 onwards. Not available for FortiGate/FortiWiFi 30G and 50G series in any OS build

So those are 2Gb :-((

You have the 50G in the footnote.  I think it is a 2GB model. Wish they would just put that in the spec sheet since it does affect available services.
