FG-90G New Firmware Version Update

Hi,

Would like to check if there are latest information already about the release of newer firmware version for FG-90G?

Due to vulnerabilities, I am keen on knowing when the expected dates are.

Hi @heyyo,

The latest version for 90G right now is 7.0.15. We are planning to merge it on 7.2.9 version and it is coming around mid August. Please note that it is subject to change.

I also think it's a shame that hardware is sold without proper software.
Fortinet also takes the money for the services and firmware.

I'm still waiting too... I'm having a lot of problems with the instability of the 90G (poor call quality, unstable Wi-Fi, dropouts). I won't fall for newly released hardware again... what a blunder.

You need to look for firmware downloads on the support page of your admin panel. Then download the firmware and install it manually. I just did this at a small branch that has a 90G. On Monday, when people return to work, we'll see what happens...

Go to support --> Firmware Download

Then, select 7.2.9 folder in "Downloads"

And search90G image:

Install the image manually with "File Upload" option in your fortigate.
