Hello..
Is it possible to duplicate the FG 60E model and the FG 60F model?
If the OS is the same version...

Hi JH_GUK,
No, they need to be of same model and same OS.
If they were of same mode and different revisions we can use "set ignore-hardware-revision enable" but we cannot use different models like 60E and 60F .

Hello,
I believe, you are looking to set up HA Cluster with FortiGate 60E and FortiGate 60F.
If yes, then it would not work. As, for HA Cluster, the primary requirement is, the devices should be of same model and then comes the firmware version which again should be same.

Klint George
As others have said - you cannot do regular HA with different models, but if it (HA) is important enough - look into HA via VRRP , which does work with different models. See https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-FortiGate-VRRP-configuration-and-debug/ta-...
Hello,
No, it is not possible to duplicate Fortinet FortiGate models like FG 60E and FG 60F. Each model represents a specific hardware platform with its own set of components and capabilities. Duplicating a model refers to creating an exact replica of the hardware, which is not supported.
Thanks
Hi,
For HA to be formed, ensure that you have two compatible FortiGate models that support HA. The models should have identical hardware specifications and capabilities to ensure seamless failover and synchronization. The FortiGate units should be running on the same version of FortiOS.
Ensure that both FortiGate units have valid and matching licenses.

Manosh
Hi JH_GUK,
Please be informed that for the cluster to work effectively the devices should be of same hardware model and should be running on same FortiOS version.

Parteek
