FG-600C part number - IPSEC VPNs

Hello All,

Sorry if this obvious question but I need to double/triple check this:

Does the basic FG-600C part number provides IPSEC VPN capabilities? or Do I need a UTM bundle in order to create site to site IPSEC VPNs?   Thanks,

Hi,

there's only dumb answers...

No, IPsec is IMHO licenced with the hardware, like firewalling. Never read about it being mentioned explicitly. In practice, IPsec works under any circumstances, with or without FortiCare or FortiGuard contract.

(yes, this might well be rated a dumb answer...)
