Hi,
I recently dug out an old pair of FG-3240C in our company basement that we have been thinking about re-using, despite the EOS status.
What I can't figure out is, whether or not IPS can work without an IPS subscription.
PS: I could boot it and test it out, but admittedly searching the web seemed like the faster option.
Best Regards,
Patrick

Not recommended from security stand point, as outdated signature doesn't protect your network from latest security threats which involving everyday, and also possible contribute unnecessary false positive
Hi Gabriel,
appreciate the answer and yes correct, lack of subscription (and general EOS) does make it somewhat obsolete, but unfortunately we may not always have the means to play by the book :)
I'll take it into consideration when going forwards.
Thanks for the answer!
Best Regards,
Patrick
