FG-300E: 802.3ad load sharing optimization?
Hello,
I use 802.2ad LACP on FG-300E units. As you can see on the picture, load sharing between those ports is bad. Port 1 is used at most. I will change the load sharing on the connected switches plus on the Fortigate itself. Currently it is set to "distribution algorithm: L4".
Changing it to L3 would be better I think, so every connection uses another link? What are your experiences with those settings?
Regards

L4 is what I prefer and provide more equal flow. So your graph has no context is that traffic in/out and what algo does the switch this set at uses ( L2 L3 L4 or 5 tuples ) ?
