FClient 4.2.0.0250 won' t install after uninstall

FClient (EndPoint Security -> IPSec only) installation fails towards the end and rollback is performed. This machine had the same installation beforehand which was removed without any errors reported. Find the rollback log attached. 1) Where can I actually find the installer log? 2) Is there a way to forcibly install or manually remove all necessary components? 3) How to remedy eventually? Remedy, or better a work-around, was to install with the SSL option (First screen). This will prevent FC to attempt starting the service in the last part of the installation because it still needs to install the SSL. When finished, uninstall the the SSL and reboot. However when attempting to connect now, the following error is in the FC log: program=FortiProxy msg=Error open redirector device ..and connection goes immediately into " down" status again.
