Hello guys,
I have a bad time trying to figure out a Fortinet FAP-U421EV issue.I have 03 old FAP-U421EV that I want to reset to default factory configuration, but the problem is that I don't have the old credentials (it was configured by another person).I tried to reset them using the pin at the back of the AP but it won't work. Actually, I logged in using the Console Port and noticed that it is stuck on a boot loop. The following message is being displayed " Hit any key to stop autoboot " and actually I did press any key but it's asking for a password and I tried all the default ones (admin, blank, password) but nothing seems to work : ......Net: Registering ethBroadcom BCM IPROC Ethernet driver 0.1Using GMAC1 (0x18023000)et0: ethHw_chipAttach phyaddr (0x1e)et0: ethHw_chipAttach: Chip ID: 0xcf1e; phyaddr: 0x1ebcm_robo_attach: devid: 0xdbcmiproc_eth-0 *********************************************************Please add diag support DIAGS_BOARD to:BCM953022KBCM953025KBCM953025K_REV2BCM958622HRBCM958623HRBCM958522ERBCM958625HRin env before you can run any diags*********************************************************COM2 is not configured due to board typeCOM3 is not configured due to board typeHit any key to stop autoboot: 2Please enter password: Can you guys point me to some fixing that I can do?Nominating a forum post submits a request to create a new Knowledge Article based on the forum post topic.
