Hi all,
is it possible to connect a FAP223b to a Fortigate 50B (4.3.18)??
The oldest release notes for FortiOS 4.3 I could find at the support site was 4.3.16 (released Jul 2012). It says,
"FortiOS v4.0 MR3 Patch Release 16 supports the following FortiAP software versions:
• FortiAP v5.0.3 build 0032 or later." and at least FortiAP firmware 5.0.3 supports FAP223B (released Apr 2013). So if you upgrade the FG50B to the lastest 4.3, it probably works. There is no guarantee though. That's from the v4.3.18 Release Notes. Same applies for FortiOS 4.3.19.FortiOS v4.0 MR3 Patch Release 18 supports the following FortiAP models: FAP-112B, FAP-210B, FAP-220A, FAP-220B, FAP-221B, FAP-222B, FAP-223B and FAP-320B The FortiAP devices must be running FortiAP v5.0 Patch Release 3 build0032 or later.
I've run that AP using a FG-60B under v4.3.18 and v4.3.19 without any problems.
