Hi,
It's our first time using the Explicit Proxy feature on the FortiGate. We just wanna know if it's normal that after we set the internal IP of the FortiGate as Proxy Server on our end device, we are unable to access the Web GUI of the FortiGate?
Many Thanks!.

Hi,
You mean it's normal that we cannot access the web gui of the Fortigate when proxy IP was configured on the host device right?
When you say " better will be set different management vlan/lan only for admins " means that this lan/vlan should not be selected on the list of Listen on Interfaces in Web Explicit Proxy? (see attached image explicit-proxy.jpg)

Hi,
How about if I have a simple network with a 192.168.1.0/24 network for my internal network and does not have different vlan/subnet for management? Can i exempt IP address so that I can access the FortiGate web gui when proxy was configured?
Thanks,
Kuas
