Explicit Proxy Licensing

Do we need to purchase additional license for explicit proxy feature? How can we know if the license is already purchased ?

Is there a command?

Hi

There is no license for explicit proxy.

But if you want do enable webfiltering with fortiguard category, you have to purchase a webfilter license

So if I understand correctly without fortiguard requirement we can still enable the web/url filtering through explicit proxy right ?

Without fortiguard web filtering license, you can use URL filter for exemple.. it's only the "dynamic" information you can't use.

as mentioned above - without the Fortiguard license you can only use white/ black listed URLs - static FW won't be able to use categories - dynamic
