I've done some digging around but I just wanted to confirm what checking this box does when configuring deep-packet-inspection. Most docs I've found mention it exempts the website from SSL inspection, so this would technically make it fall back to cert inspection, right? I just want to make sure it wouldn't exempt any reputable website from any type of inspection (for example facebook.com would be reputable and therefore wouldn't hit the web filter, etc.). Any thoughts before I open a ticket with TAC?
hm afaik you set what is considered reputable by checking this box and then choose some fortiguard or local custom cathegory in the fields below.
