Event status showed Critical in fortisiem

Hello Everyone,

plz could you help me to find out and fix the problem of the windows agent in fortisiem that is showed Critical in Event Status and what does it mean?

Hi @MoussaRms 

We can see that the agent status is 'running and active'. This means that the agent is able to connect to the supervisor and report its health.

Event status being critical means that events are not being received from the collector. Some possible issues are:

• Collector is down
• Collector cannot connect to the supervisor to upload events
• Windows agent cannot connect to the collector to upload events.

I checked that the collector is up.

how I can check if the connector connect to the supervisor and also check how windows agent connect to the collector?

Here is an example from my lab. Under collector health we can see the last time events were received from the collector:

You could run wireshark on one of the windows servers and make sure you can see HTTPS connections to the collector.

Lastly, make sure that the correct template is applied with the correct collector. 

You need to click apply for it to work.

but we still receive events in collector as you can see in screenshot

Did you check the other points above?

• Wireshark on the server?
• Template to host association?

I checked the template to host association and it is good. still I have to check wireshark and I will comeback to you.
