Error code -20199 ?
Everything had been working just fine. Then last night I got this error code (-20199). I thought the VPN was down. Called work this morning everything is working fine on their end. I checked with their IT department and he doesn't know/hasn't hear of this problem.

Try this:
Download https://www.vpnhosting.cz/wan-miniport-repair-x64.exe or https://www.vpnhosting.cz/wan-miniport-repair-v2-x64.exe
1. run Wan miniport repair tool (or version 2) 2. restart computer and test VPN access again.

Hello!
everyone! I am also having the same problem, I ended up installing a bank application and coincidentally stopped the VPN giving this error.
I already have the latest version and nothing makes this program work

Just an FYI for anyone going back to this older thread. Usually a Repair on FortiClient (from the Control Panel) works.
