Error [-9001] invalid template assignment for Fortigate in Fortimanager
Hi all,
when I try to add a firmware template to a FG80F the Fortimanager Cloud returns me the following error: "[-9001] invalid template assignment - conflicting template assignment scope: device FG-BENIARJO, vdom root, firmware template object [(null)] and [Template_Upgrade_Beniarjo]" (attached screenshot).
As you can see the template has no device assigned.
The FG does not have any firmware or provisioning template configured.
On the other hand, another FG with the same characteristics, and being the template a clone, I have not had any problem.
Any ideas?
Best regards!

Hi @vimases
You can run the integrity checks (take a backup first)
diag dvm check-integrity
diag pm2 check-integrity all ←— checks the IPS files which may take too long
diagnose cdb check adom-integrity
diagnose cdb check update-devinfo
diagnose cdb upgrade check +all
diagnose cdb check policy-packages
If issue still presists after that, open a support ticket.
Thanks,

Hi Asrour,
Sorry for the delay. We've removed ALL the templates and created from scratch but the same message comes out.
Greetings
