Endpoint Registration over VPN (ipsec)

Hello All!

I have a problem registering the Forticlient over VPN. When i am connected in the local lan, i can connect to the fortigate. This was not working until i activated "broadcast discovery messages"

But when i am connected over VPN i want to register before the client connects to the LAN. i cannot remember, i have enabled the "register Endpoint button" when i installed the Ipsec connection. But there´s a network under the Wan Network which ist named as my VPN -Conection with FMC-Access enabled. But this network has the ip 169.254.1.1 not the ip from the Forticlient network adress space. so i don´t know if this is the problem?

Any ideas?
