Enable Fortigate communication to Forticloud and vice versa.

Hello all,

I'm currently preparing firewalled communication between management part of Fortigate and Fortinet services ie. :

- push notifications

- AV&IDS updates

- Forticloud logging

- everything what is related with Fortinet...

I'd like to know which services/IPs need to be allowed on firewall for communication Fortigate vs Forticloud. I've found out that Fortinet range is 208.91.112.0/22, 96.45.32.0/20 ??? is there any other IP range which is required for communication?

Hi,

I may add the following when using the Webfilter...

"get webfilter status" will output a List of Servers  used for URL Rating.

Just in Case you run in trouble when using this Feature.

Most of the times the Servers with the highest weight will be used.

Yep, that's the approach but I don't use another Fortigate for firewalling, just cisco ACLs...
