Email broken in Same Network in Outlook

We are using FG-50E, forios version -6.2.When we are sending any emails in the same network from outlook with attachments & tables, the recipient in the same network receiving with broken tables in outlook. If we send without attachment, only tables. table not broken in recipient outlook in the same network. If we send any email with attachments and tables to another network, who are not using the Fortinet firewall, they receive that email without any issue. The issue is only internally, where we are using the FortiGate firewall. Can anybody help us to solve this issue?

Hi eaglehij,

have you done any kind of troubleshooting on the FortiGate?

-> verify what policy is applied on the FortiGate

-> disable UTM features (like Antivirus, IPS, AntiSpam) on that policy to verify which one might be causing the issue

-> disabled offloading in the policy (https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Disabling-NP-offloading-in-security-policy...)

These steps should help you narrow down what settings on FortiGate might be interfering.

From there, it would be easier to find a solution :)

Choose Account Settings > Account Settings. On the Email tab, choose your account (profile), and then choose Repair. Note: The Repair option isn't available if you're using Outlook 2016 to connect to an Exchange account. Follow the prompts in the wizard, and when you're done, restart Outlook.

Greeting,
