hi,
i'd like rename an existing VDOM but can't seem to do this either on the local FGT device or FMG.
can this be done via CLI? if there is, what is the command?
is there a feature visibility that i should enable for me to edit the VDOM name?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I don't think it's possible while the vdom name is used and referenced at many places as soon as you created it. Deleting once and recreating it with a new name would be the only option.
If it's an old vdom and you have many things already configured and used, I wouldn't try changing the name. It's just a name.

Hi @johnlloyd_13 ,
I can confirm that you can't edit a VDOM name. Especially this FGT is managed by FMG already.

hi,
thanks for your feedback!
it's a new/empty VDOM so I can just delete it and create with a new name.
