EMS change IP
Hi EMS admins
EMS 7.4.1. I want to change the IP address of the VM.
Can I just change it at Linux level? Will EMS work properly after that? Or is any extra change required in EMS config?

Depends on how you have it set up. If the VM has a private IP, I would ensure the port forwarding on your FortiGate will point to the new IP. No other change should be needed, packets will flow to the EMS server.
If the VM has a public IP directly, or you are changing the public IP, you should check this menu and ensure it is pushing the new IP to your endpoints: https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.4.0/ems-administration-guide/319002/configuring-ems...

Thanks John
As long as there is nothing else to change on EMS side..
I'll share the result once I try it.

Done successfully.
I changed IP at Linux level (netplan) and rebooted. Once EMS up it shows this warning:
The server's IP address was changed. Please update the Listen on IP and FortiClient download URL in System Settings->EMS Settings.
In EMS settings, I changed the Listen IP address and FCT download URL, then all went fine.
