Hello!
I set the Fortigate 50B to sent emails when something is blocked, but when I set the WAN with static IP I never receive the email alerts, but when I use a PPPoE I receive all the alerts fine using the same Policy.
In static IP , I can open webpages fine (the same way with the PPPoE), so I think that I made the right thing setting a static route for WAN 1 like bellow:
Destination IP/Mask: 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
Device: WAN1 Gateway: 187.***.***.***
Priority:0
Distance: 10
What I did wrong?

Hi, do you use a specific SMTP relay server? Some SMTP server's require that the client's IP (in this case your WAN IP) be added to their whitelist or allowed to use their SMTP relay service. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks,
jb
