Dual wan configuration...pls help.

We have Fortigate 80C in our company recently we got secondary ISP for our company.

I have configured that on wan2 with static ip & other details (wan1 already configured & running fine.

Now here problem is if am switching off wan2, wan1 is also going down & we are not able to reach internet.

I have configured ECMP load balancing & configured HA also for active active....but no luck..

Any help if you understood my problem?

It would have helped if you provided the firmware version running on the Fortigate as load-balancing is configured differently on 4.3/5.0 and 5.2.  If using 5.0, make sure both WAN connections have the same weighted value and distance and that Dead Gateway Detection is enabled.  I am guessing DGD is not configured.

thank for for explaining the things in detail.

I have gone thru & found the issue was in ECMP load balancing configuration.

Check the screenshot for more clarity.

Thank you once again for explanation.
