Hi all,
The insert rate on my FortiAnalyzer has dropped to 0. The event log has a message every few seconds like:
2016-05-12 16:00:30 warning system FortiAnalyzer event Dropped log database table FGTADOM3-tlog-1457995500 with size 77MB due to trim by size.
Can anyone give me any pointers as to what is going on?
Cheers,!

Hi,
Same issue here, and it happens always after "Deleted 1 log files of device xxx [FGHAxxxxx_CID], to enforce the device's space quota." The question is, if deleted file is not an active log (log that has not been rolled), there should be no problem.
But still without any explanation of why it happens...
Please go to CLI "dia log device" to check if your device quota reached. You may need increase quota setting.
regards,
hz
Cheers for the help all. After a whlie the box seemed to calm down and the insert rate went back to normal.
