I attempted to locate the FortiEDR components under the Products tab in the Fortinet Support Portal, but I was unable to find any items related to FortiEDR.

Could you please advise where I can find and download the FortiEDR installation packages

Hi, as FortiEDR is closely guarded software, do not expect it to be downloadable as other Fortinet products. After purchasing the license/product you will be sent link to download all needed software/files as described here https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiEDR/Technical-Tip-What-to-expect-after-purchasing-FortiEDR/ta... . 

This is a normal practice with EDR tools (not Fortinet specific), to prevent Red Teamers and enthusiast from working on ways to evade the commercial EDR (and any EDR can be evaded, given enough time and effort with it).
