Disk usage at 99.8%

Hi all, on my FG600C fw version 5.0.4, the disk usage is ever at 99.8% and also if I delete all logs usage decreases only of 0,1%! You can see a summary of my disk management in the file attached. What does fill the disk? Is it possible clear some space without formatting HD?

From your screen shoot it looks like DLP Archive, IPS Packet Archive, and Quarantine are not even used, though you have almost 11GB allocated for them. If you have no plans (or need) to allocated that much space to those features, I suggest redistributing the space to somewhere else. Also only about 15 GB allocated altogether from out of 55 GB total storage space, leaving about 40 GB reserved (unused).

As your advice, I redistribute disk space reducing space of DLP archive, Quarantine and IPS Archive, but space is ever at 99.8%. I don' t understand what FG stores on HDD1 and why it' s so full... There' s a command to list files? Attached you can see new summary. Thanks

Hello, As you are using model 600C with version 5 patch 4. Does the firmware v5 patch 4 stable on the 600C. do you get any high cpu usage or memory etc apart from disk usage. I' m asking you because in a few day i am planning to upgrade my 600C to version 5 patch 4. Do you find any bug any. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

Version 5 patch 4 is quite stable. I updated my 600C from patch 3 because memory usage was always about 95-99% and sometimes it went in conserve mode. Now, this problem is solved! With patch 4 I had some problems with web interface, a bit slow (wa_cs process at 99.9% blocked access to webUI).

anru, judging from the screenshot, your logging disk is just barely being used. Look at the " used" column. There' s no problem here as far as I can see. With 54 GB (gigs!!) you can log to disk for months and months without filling it up. There is just one drawback: if you allocate a huge portion for e.g. traffic logs, it can take ages to display them. If that is a concern for you depends on your circumstances.

5.0.4 is quite stable, but I haven' t tested it on a FG 600c. I think 5.0.5 isn' t far away anymore... martin
